As a Regional HSEQ Business Partner you will be based in the West Midlands area, covering a number of sites based in the West Midlands region. You will join a large, multi-national, logistics group and form a key part of a supportive Corporate HSEQ Team.
Your brief is to enable site and regional management through high level guidance and support, enabling them to comply with health, safety and environmental legislation, customer directives and external certifications. You will use your influencing skills to facilitate a positive health and safety culture across your region.
You will lead on all health, safety, environment and quality matters such as; liaising externally with enforcement agencies, attending sector management meetings and site health, safety and environment meetings, advising on new health, safety and environment legislation, contributing to the continued development of health, safety , environment and quality management systems and identifying and implementing best practice.
You will also be responsible for audits and inspections, delivering both formal training and informal training/coaching sessions, assisting in more complex risk assessments and analysing incident and claim data to identify areas that require improvement/resources.
Driving licence is essential as is a willingness to travel in the South West region. You will be qualified to Level 6 in Health and Safety and or hold Grad IOSH/CMIOSH with and have proven experience in a manufacturing/logistics environment.
